CFO MAGAZINE in a recent issue had an article on the chapter 11 reorg of Polaroid in which they comment on the typical action of bankruptcy courts in NY and Del almost always ignoring any rights that common holders might have and giving the company away to:

-- creditors
-- any new cash coming into the equation.

Not sure if it is on the CFO website but if it is, read it.
It is very instructive.
