jj, Brookelise has some indicators she calls CI's (different from CWI's, which are cold weather indicators you see when people are dressed in tight swimsuits at the beach)

Anyway, the CI's are nowhere near oversold on a short term, medium term, or long term basis for the COMP. The S&P are close to a buy near term, but still have more downside potential.

A reading of 30 is oversold on her system, and the S&P was at 9 and 27 and short and medium term respectively at the close. A close of 0 on her system is like Don Sew's in that it triggers a buy signal up to next day's lows.

The COMP readings on her CI's are

ST Naz CI: 61.932 73.225
MT Naz CI: 63.217 79.015
LT Naz CI: 86.049 90.188

ST S&P CI: 9.278 43.855
MT S&P CI: 27.953 49.240
LT S&P CI: 74.640 82.133

As you can see, the long term numbers have quite a ways to fall. At big lows like we saw in July and October, all the numbers hit zero. In interim lows, the ST and MT usually get to zero at least intra-day.
