Gary's 1st post on SI was on April 30th, after he was hired on April 28th, and after the deal with Kaz was cut on April 22nd. The Kaz deal was not announced until May 12. Often times, companies don't announce their contracts or discoveries until they are organized and ready with their PR firms.
