Iraq and North Korea with smallpox? CB, that sounds a little too coincidental for my liking. Why doesn't Iran also have it to complete the Axis of Evil?

I know Britain had it. I suppose Russia [ex USSR had]. USA [has everything]. But Iraq? North Korea? Not China, or umpty other countries?

France would be understandable.

I suspect that smallpox will be as hard to find in Iraq as weapons of mass destruction. Hey, King George II should demand that they prove they don't have smallpox or Raelian radiation too. How to prove such a negative would be tricky. The positive could be proven - "Hey, loookee here! A vial containing offically registered smallpox." The negative is more difficult to prove, which would make invasion easily justified. "C'mon Saddam. We are still waiting for you to prove that you don't have any of that Raelian radiation stored in a kryptonite tube somewhere.

Plague has had its day. Imagine what would happen in the crowded streets of the Arab world if smallpox got loose in Baghdad. I don't think it is in Arab or Moslem interests to turn that stuff loose, even if they do have it.
