Priests are supposed to represent God. There is supposed to be some mystical connection that allows Priests to give dying people last rites, allowing those people to get to Heaven.

If a Priest was molesting children, does that mean that the bond between a priest and God was broken. If so, then all those thousands of people did not get a valid last rite. Thus all those people went to Hell.

I wonder if people can sue the church because Priests, who molested children, weren't qualified to give last rites, thusly causing their loved ones to perish in Hell?
