If I understand your question correctly:

Hit Charts from WOW's opening screen, then hit SmartScan. You should be at Scan Options. At the bottom of this page, there's a box with: "I want the scan to look for signals over the last ..... days/periods." Fill in the number of days you want to test for. If it's just for the past day, put in 1.

Is that what you meant? If not -- if you already knew that -- sorry.
