Maurice, I live in suburban New York, close enough to see almost daily the mutilated skyline, as I'm driving to work. As a physician, I have to deal with many people who’s lives were in many different ways impacted by the 9/11. The whole thing is pretty hard to take at times.

One example... (not everyone made it into the "Time" mag...-g). The fellow in the "police" vest on the link below is my patient, who over the years also became a friend. He tells me that the injured person whom he is helping to get to safety actually saved HIS life, because he was on his way inside the building when he run into this guy. Otherwise, he would be... dust.
