Emile, I just had to responde once more. the huge contract you speak of in your latest posting here (200 million) is hardly huge in telco budget terms - it is a drop in the bucket!!!! BBTK, as I read the press release is going to provide Atlantic Bell with fiber networking solutions - so congratualtions to BBTK and Loser technolgies! In the past several weeks your postings have gone from spouting that we all would have FTTC within 3 to 6 years to the integrated network plan (fiber backbone - CTTH) which will be the next step in the networks evolution. I hardly think a single RBOC awarding a single contract (puny at the best) is enough reason to declare a technological revolution! A big contract - one like Ameritech awarded NT last year - 1 Billion - now that's a 'huge' contract! Do you understand how the network - ie the phone system - in the US is laid out presently? Do you think Bell Atlantic is setting there in New England barefoot and fiberless today? Get Real!! Fiber - for long distance trunking and data has been with us since the mid 70's and is hardly worth the postings you have been trying to convert people with! Loser technologies no longer can dictate what the US network will look like - as they did prior to divestiture. There are too many players out there who are bigger than any of the RBOC's individually. What about GTE? What about MCI and Sprint? For those who don't know: The 'huge' 200 million dollar contract - over the next 6! years that Emile has been chanting to us - amounts to this - BBTK has been selected to enhance the already servicable fiber network - that connects them accross lata boundaries to other telcos and to other data service providers. 'Loser' Technologies is in there and they are supposedly going to deliver a 'NON STANDARD' ADSL that will allow everyone presumably to write these stupid postings at a gazillion bits per second! And that folks...is all the 'huge' contract amounts to. Gary
