I am in favor of hefty taxes on any organized religion for the portion of it's organization that is not involved in charitable works, unless they are involved in politics, whereas ALL of their organization should be taxed.

One way of increasing taxes would be to turn the death penalty into a reality TV show. Instead of lethal injection, we could go back to hanging, for the sake of realism.

The show would have three gallows. Two convicted murderers would be on the two gallows, and one of their lawyers would be on the other gallows. After reviewing the evidence, and the history of, how many criminals the lawyer got off, Internet viewers could then vote in their choice for execution that night.

For drama, the governor would be able to call in with a commutation, but only one minute AFTER the execution.
