How about this for a compromise solution. UN continues with the inspections for another 6 months to a year and the above 4 nations pay for the deployment or redeployment of our troops in the region for that time. I would want the cash up front before i agree to this however.
This should satisfy US because saddam in a box for a year and the quartet above can search to their hearts content. At the end of the year they could have right to renew for another year. mike@creativeavoidanceofwar.com
