US government did nothing about these violations of "the principle of not allowing one nation state to conquer another in the modern world." "Reasons for military action flow from WMDs which give saddam control of the region(and its oil) and prevents the region from moving to moderation, economic progress and human freedom(and democracy when it applies)." This is a smoke screen.
