"Yes, my friend, I do believe in your right to dissent. I also believe I have the same right."

On this we both agree. I totally support your right to dissent and disagree with posters here. That is the true value of FADG...We are exposed to many sides of issues and the format of the board lets us engage in spirited dialogue. I am sure if KL and you and Rascal ever engaged in real life/real time it would be a very short discussion.

My dissent is not against you and the military but in support of it. I don't want even one soldier killed or one mother devastated by actions which could have been solved by engagement and diplomacy.

I hope you and others you may influence in the military open your hearts and minds to us dissenters and realize that we care so much for this country and the armed forces that we are willing to stand up and take abuse.

It's difficult to entertain diverse information when one wants to only have one opinion and stick to it. Have you ever changed your mind on something major in the past? We must continually challenge our belief system and hold it up to the light in an effort to become the best we can be.

"Who is this mouthy broad and who are you? Why do you tolerate a person who questions the service of the President of The United States of America and then question my right to dissent to her comments? What is going on here?
"

THis is where you lose me. How does this support dissenters' right to dissent when you ask for credentials. The military fought so everybody could dissent.

Even Broads.
Anybody ever call your wife or daughter or mother a broad?
What do you think their feelings towards them was? How did it make you feel? How do you think it made them feel?

Hey maybe you call your wife or daughter or mother a broad (or even worse). If you do then my efforts to try to change your mind are wasted. I hope you don't and I'm not.
