...but who can no longer bear the circumstances of his life...

Got coolaid?

There's probably a billion people or more on the planet who are questioning their ability to bear their circumstances on any given day. They keep a stiff upper lip for the sake of their soul, and because "hope" is an ideal held up by humanity.

I see your argument and have empathy for any person that is despondant over their circumstance. I have never met anyone that was in such tragic dispair that I support them in a decision to end their life, and I am not able to imagine it. Maybe I should get out more, maybe not.

The biggest problem I see with your argument is that it gets absorbed as a subset of the right to choose under any circumstance argument. That argument, once accepted, gets absorbed under the lets have an agenda about it organization. So then (in a few years) we start to see the population control people rising up with their comments about who should be "kept alive" and who shouldn't. Infanticide has been a recurring accepted cultural practice at differing times in history and I have begun to hear support for a comeback in the future. Young people are starting to make ageist comments about how old useless people absorbe or "waste" resources, etc. As soon as we have a vehicle for eliminating people from the planet based on dispair over circumstances we also have control freaks defining which of us qualify. I don't know about you, but as soon as I hear that I am not welcome at a party I feel dispair over it.

I don't want to live on a planet where humanity is reduced to a survival of the fittest nature and so I will continue to argue against things that could contribute to that. If you see this (suicide) as a solution you have to weigh the risks and be willing to own the consequenses as well.

There are a few annoying people I would love to excuse from the planet but it has nothing to do with them wanting to commit suicide.
