Nothing is wrong with using it as tool, but you better know about the Company you are buying. Since I have been reading SI, I have noticed a lot of traders becoming long term investors in loosing positions. Not a very effective way to manage your money. If you sell when support is violated, you'll get to try again (as long as it doesn't gap down.) But you must sell, if you don't know the company.
