Wow -- AMZN earned one whole penny per share! <<Amazon.com (AMZN: news, chart, profile) said it earned $3 million, or 1 cent a share, in the fourth quarter. Even so, those results were below the GAAP forecasts put forth by some analysts. Goldman Sachs expected Amazon.com to earn $18.8 million, or 5 cents a share, on a GAAP basis. U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray was looking for $31.1 million.>> marketwatch.com
