tejek, re:I hope Bush and his cronies are not into for the oil. I know oil plays some role in this mess but I don't believe Bush is lining his pockets. I would agree it doesn't make any sense given Bush Sr. was there before and didn't make a pile of cash - yet that was one of the TV talking points before the war last time around. As for the Germans, it's sort of funny - Germany doesn't want to go to war?! I mean - given their history, same goes for the Japanese - guess when the Americans kick your ass and rebuild your country you lose your taste for war. ;-) I guess we forgot to do that part (rebuild it) in Iraq last time. One things for sure - our economy and my portfolio can't stand endless more months of this crap, either let's go to war or let Saddam back into the big clubhouse.
