It all ends with the 2004 elections.

Don't be naive! Didn't you learn anything last year? Going into the summer, with the economy in the toilet, the Dems (pronounced Dims) were counting their margins of victory in the senate and the house. Out of nowhere, comes an imminent war with Iraq. And before the Dems had recovered, they had lost seats in both houses.

The neo-cons have an agenda. Shortly after Super Tuesday 2004, when the Dem nominee is decided, a meeting will be held. Based on the perceived weaknesses of the Dem nominee, a subset of Project 2000 objectives will be selected, and a timetable decided. And all of a sudden the Dem nominee just won't seem to be the right sort of candidate for the unfolding events.

I'm just going by the established MO.
