I am guessing that this is so, if I understood your belief (unless of course it is not your belief) correctly that there is no debt problem in the US, while it is the largest debtor nation with little savings.

China's govt debt is nicely offset by private savings, and therefore is even less of a problem, as it requires no one outside the country to do debt financing, especially given that the outsiders are apparently perfectly happy to take equity (and when they want out, they come to me for help).

Sort of brings Amazon (the company) to mind, as in why issue debt when folks will buy the equity?

Such is the way of the world, and in the mean nasty time, profits can be made by the clear of mind and swift of feet.
