<<...He can stand up and say, "We did all we could and we cannot wait any longer...>>

I don't agree...The country is NOT convinced at all...The Administration has been AWOL when it comes to making a COMPELLING CASE for going to war with Iraq....Most folks don't see the clear and present danger. Has the inspection process really run its course? Is the U.S. working with the U.N. and creating a powerful coalition? If this is our multi-lateral approach to dealing with Iraq its embarassing...Most of the recent polls indicate the president only has support for a war in Iraq if he provides more evidence AND gains the support and backing of the United Nations. IMO, the Bushies aren't going to do this...they seem to be on track to go to war in the next few weeks (not months)...If we rush into war without broad support that could be Bush's downfall -- yet, maybe that will be a blessing in disguise. Its a shame that some of our soldiers may lose their lives fighting war games dreamed up by the ChickenHawks in the Administration.
