Been gone all day and completely out of the news loop. I got back only to find my computer on the blink. Thankfully, now, it's up and running.

Anway, I've missed the whole day--lol! Too many messages in my inbox, please do forgive I I'm unable to respond--busy again tomorrow.

When I got home I turned on the news and one of the first things I heard was that Putin called Bush on the hotline (a device infrequently used?) in order to plead for more time for the UN inspectors. Has this been discussed tonight?

Also the tone of the news seemed to change from a weapons of mass destruction elimination intent to a reconfiguration of the MidEast. Is this what's happening?

Since I'm on short time, does anyone have any suggestions for news that I should include in the chronological header? And how about a general update on what's been going on with the thread through the day. If anyone's got time to fill me in, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
