Internap has added a News Release to its Investor Relations web site. Title: Internap Names Former Head of GE Equity Investments As New Chief Financial Officer; 30-Year Veteran Financial Strategist Robert R. Jenks to Lead Finance Team.
With 30 years of experience at leading equity investment and capital management companies, Jenks rounds out the senior management team at Internap.
While at GE, Jenks was responsible for the company's global private equity investment activity in the communications industry, managing a technology portfolio across some 35 companies in the U.S., South America and Europe. Investments focused on growth-stage equity in the hardware, software and service provider sectors. Jenks was also Chief Financial Officer at WorldTel, Ltd., a London-based communications development company affiliated with the United Nations, whose investors included Intel, AIG and GE Capital.
"Bob is a highly respected communications executive and has a vast amount of experience managing and developing financial strategies for growing technology companies," said Greg Peters, president and CEO of Internap.
