they weren't lowered expectations for one quarter anindo. You are in some kind of denial or something or maybe projecting your industry onto mine. I really wish people that don't know my industry would stop trying to read the financials and misinterpreting them. Oracle hit a new high with new license revenues 2 quarters ago. Bears on oracle try to lie with statistics and imply that wasn't true, conveniently adding in maintenance revs as if that matters. Maintenance revs are residual, a drag on revs when things are accelerating and an uplift in a decline.

It is possible that in march/may, after 2 quarters of accelerating improvement, software collapses. We have to wait to see if that happens.
