Actually, I did not take a "right to life" approach, I took a "weighing of important values" approach.

Yes, I acknowledged that. You've shown flexibility all along. A true right to lifer could not make exceptions except, perhaps, for self defense. If one finds other values to trade off against the right to life, one can't possibly be a right to lifer, seems to me. That's my point.
