Of course I'm demanding it. Perhaps when Washington gets off its collective duff and starts streamlining federal government, then I'll trust Uncle Sam to handle my hard-earned tax dollars. Right now, I don't see it. CIA, FBI, INS, Social Security, etc. are all nightmares of government bureaucracy.

There isn't much room left to cut taxes for the poor. Any more and the government will be handing out welfare checks. Of course, the Democrats don't want to say that, for they get more traction by opposing "tax breaks for the wealthy" instead of "handouts for the poor."

"Tax breaks for the wealthy" is nothing more than a political statement aimed at fostering jealousy. If you really want to make a statement, put dishonest rich guys like Bernie Ebbers and Jeff Skilling in jail.
