I understand your position. And in some "absolute" sense if all things were equal, you'd be absolutely right. Problem is, the equation is more complicated. Fear + Alienation + Hurt > Hurt - Fear - Alienation The equation just doesn't balance if you only look at hurt. [Edit: do you think that blonde jokes are anything but "moron" and "Polish" jokes redux?)
