i am not a pacifist. in fact, i'm a veteran. there are causes worth dying and killing for. this is not one of them.

for all we know, if israel hadn't taken out the reactor saddam might have eventually dropped a warhead on riyadh. which means the twin towers might still be standing today. my hypothetical is as valid as yours.

i have said many times, if we are serious about this so-called war on terrorism, let's do it right and take out the barbarians running the so-called kingdom of saudi arabia. the ones who supplied the means and the personnel to commit 9-11. instead, our "leaders" call them "ally".

such a military action i would support wholeheartedly. this saddam nonsense is a waste of time and more importantly, a waste of resources. we will be NO safer afterwards and our economy will be even further down the toilet.
