Defense spending as a % of GDP is shown on the following chart: It is currently limping along at historically low levels at about 3% of GDP. d-n-i.net Please take pity on all of us dim-witted folks with "meager comprehension" and explain how this is creating an "imperial war machine" which is "hollowing out" the domestic economy.
