Re MR Kellers discussion:

<< It's not that people doubt Saddam is a danger. They just think Mr. Bush is in too much of a rush. They want to see the evidence the president claims to have. >>>
No problem. The public will shortly get to see enough evidence to convince reasoning men that WMD's exist in Iraq.
We will not see all of the evidence early-on, since that would tell Saddam we know where his stuff is hidden and trigger an adverse reaction .
Assuming that Saddam has WMD's one should not give him another year to develope same.
It has been pointed out that temperatures in Iraq can go to 130 degrees in the summer months. It is logical
to avoid fighting then.
Perhaps a war starting in February seems like a rush job, but a decision is needed. Start soon. or wait a year
Well , you cannot have a coalition hang together for over a year , nor keep the troops and ships in the region , wondering what is going on elsewhere, or whether there will be any action at all or if it does when would it start?
Many things can happen in a year of waiting- another terrorist strike at a city, another Cole event, another embassy bombing etc
Yes. Saddam could even have an accident and leave his son in charge But I doubt if that would improve
things for the common citizen
