the half dozen or so "skins" updates can be individually selected (checked), then excluded, so they won't continue to forever appear on the update list.

and, in case anyone has an interest, it's possible via the SB settings to be apprised of betas... i think the item to select is called "Display also available beta versions"

the betas are not my cup of tea, but i know our fearless leader tc (and from time to time gottfried?) like to live on The Beta Edge.
