With gold prices at 6 year highs and Red Lake being the hot spot (thanks to Goldcorp's McEwan), I think RMX wants to raise some money now while the going is good. This should be enough to carry them through for the next 2 years of drilling and operations. This financing dwarfs their prior financings. I've been around since July, 2001 and the other 2 financings were $1M and $3M and involved different players.

I think they'll use the money to work McFinley. They had some promising results first time out. I can't see them picking up more properties at this time. We should be getting the result of Rivard in the next few weeks.
