Too often, Mr. Bush has been compared erroneously to Teddy Roosevelt. I am posting this bio in its entirety to remind us as to what constitutes greatness.
If you want a bio of TR, I recommend you go read the first two volumes of Edmund Morris' biography, and await the third volume due out in a couple of years. THEN you may have some sense of what TR was about.

Bush DOES have some Rooseveltian qualities. TR was roundly criticized early on in his administration for inviting Booker T. Washington to a one on one dinner -- the first black man to ever be invited to the White House for dinner. Bush appointed the first black Secretary of State, as well as the first black National Security Advisor (and two of the most competent to hold the office in years, in my view).

Stop........you're being silly while demeaning what it means to be great.
