Let's not forget that Osama Bin Laden was largely contained and constrained from tragic acts during the Clinton era.

It took the malfeasance and negligence of the Bush team to allow Operation 911 to occur.

May I suggest you skip the ad hominem attacks? They simply point out to the readership here that you lack an argument.

My point about arrogance was not specific to you, but to a class of Americans who are now engaged in precisely the kind of foreign adventurism that perpetrates the hatred of U.S. foreign policy and commercial exploitation which guarantees future attacks against America. This point was made cogently and forcefully at the World Economic Forum by Malaysia's Dr. Mahithir. And it was just as arrogantly disregarded by John Ashcroft and Rep. Bob Portman (R. OH) as you do here. America's Republican leadership seems impervious to intelligent self-reflection and incapable of comprehending the motivations of their enemies.
