Its all very simple Karen, no need to use so many words
If Iraq sends even one biologically laden missile containing smallpox virus or anthrax spores or ebola into a nearby country it could result in countless deaths world-wide.
What would be your choice at the instant that occurs.?
Continue routine daily strikes at pre-planned targets and hope for the best while Iraq launches even more missiles
or
with all nations warned in advance (as they have been) that you would use maximum force if needed to prevent a world wide catastrophe , use the best weapon in your arsenal - even if nuclear, to eliminate the supplies, bases, and weapons the enemy employs?
No decisions have yet been made- it all up to Saddam, if he wants war, and what level of warfare will occur will depend on his actions.
