It's been that way for about 33 years now. They have gradually driven the pro-Americans into retirement or onto the margins. That is a situation that cannot endure in one of the two major parties forever. The abandonment of the republic by one of the two major parties is the key political development of this mega-era in our history, overshadowing 91101, the war on terror, and the collapse of the Clinton "smoke and mirrors" economy. The conflict rages in many ways in the Democratic party, while the lap dog left wing press studiously ignores it, sticking to the fantasy angle of (as one anchor slipped up and said in November, 2000) "What will it take for US to WIN this thing?" (Fox News, indeed, is unafraid to report-while letting their viewers decide.)
The break will come if it becomes apparent that Lieberman is the last one standing for the presidential nomination. The Black/Jewish schism will become too transparent for the left wing "establishment" media to ignore.
It is likely to result in massive defeat across the board in 2004, which would threaten the continued existence of the party. If the surviving Democrats cannot then succeed in bringing the party back to America, the populists may see realization of their "new party" vision, as well as the meaning of the phrase, "Be careful what you wish for-you might get it."... |
