Tahoe, China is the wild card in any Korean conflict - just as they were 50 years ago. What if we made a deal with them - Taiwan in exchange for crushing any military moves North Korea might make? What if we kept Taiwan as our ultimate trump card, and instead offered to keep up the most favor trading status, high export consumption, welcoming into the WTO, etc? China stands to benefit greatly by being the peacekeeper in the region, but it won't come for free. We are hardly without options in that game. Sharp
