Gibson Research Discussions OFF-line Page Updated: Jan 26, 2003 at 09:37 (0.08 days ago) Current News Server Status: I don't have any specific news to report yet, but restoring our news server to health and availability is my #1 priority. It is the only thing I will work on until it's done. Things became quickly worse last night, so I'm worried that the drive might be dying. Now the server's FreeBSD UNIX won't even finish mounting the various volumes before the system crashes back to the BIOS and reboots. I deliberately left the system in the BIOS menu overnight to see if it would crash from there, but all was well in the morning.
