that's bunk. Russia and France would get the big payload oil feilds, as they do now. Just at lesser profit margins.

And that's why the're against getting tough with Saddam. He's a $$$$ ally to France and Russia. You can find this out with a little effort, GST.

And re your fear for iran, iran is gradually becoming more liberalized. The large population of young people do not spend all day chanting and burnign US flags. Thye're busy. Women have gained more rights.

Iraq too would flourish without Saddam. They have a solid middlle class, high literacy levels, and religious zealotry is definately on the low end of the scale by ME standards. I don't understand why you are so frightned by the prospect of a serial-killer dictator being run out of town.
