Yes...It could very well have been disinformation...You could find the exact item on misc.invest.canada by using the

dejanews.com site to enter words from the post to search for it. That is a good tool for keyword searches of all existing newsgroups, and I use it to find technical bits for computer troubleshooting. It was only last week that it showed up. I should have got the author, but it should still be out there...all you need is a newsreader that is set to pick up that newsgroup - the back articles should be on there still. I use NewsWatcher on my Mac. I'll have a look for it next week.
