Shock and Awe, if it happens, at a minimum, will make Americans reconsider the value of one American life against the value of 100 lives of foreigners, especially where children are concerned.
There's no doubt in my mind that Bush'll lose 'bigtime' because American attitudes will surely change, a new consciousness will become spawned.
We, Americans, no matter how our politicians would like us to believe, will not view a Shock and Awe campaign in Iraq with the same kind of minds, hearts and souls that most Americans experienced after the atomic drops on Japan to end World War II. It'll be different.
Totally different.
You see, it'll become a matter where not only will we be hated by impoverished Third World leaders and their citizenry, but we will also become hated by our longtime allies.
If Bush does this, the Democrats should en masse immediately move for a Bush impeachment. Such a move will be supported by the people! |
