The fact or quality of being diverse; difference.

A point or respect in which things differ.

Variety or multiformity: “Charles Darwin saw in the diversity of species the principles of evolution that operated to generate the species: variation, competition and selection” (Scientific American).

dis·par·i·ty ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-spr-t)
n. pl. dis·par·i·ties
The condition or fact of being unequal, as in age, rank, or degree; difference: “narrow the economic disparities among regions and industries” (Courtenay Slater).
Unlikeness; incongruity.

As you can see, the definition for both is almost identical.

No, I don't see that.....one is about human criteria and the inequalities that exist while the other is more concerned with the differences between several species of say monkeys.

I thought the object of the MU case was diversity, or disparity.

Diversity.

Funny how you are against it only when it pleases you. Diverse, or disparite jobs have different wage rates. Lawyers make more than truck drivers. That is economics, not racism. Once again, the only way to truly say both races should on aggregate have equal pay is if both races have equal proportions working in similar industries, with similar longevity, and similar responsibilities.

I said minimize the disparities; not make them exactly the same.

I see. Under you definition, then, we should not be required to obey all laws; only the ones that really pertain to us.

Obvioulsly you are still blind as what you are seeing is not what I said. I said that laws targeting racism, should target the groups practicing racism. You have yet to prove that the disparities are from racist prejudices, not other prejudices. I explained why they wouldn't be from racism in my case, and in MU case. Explain how I practice racism, then condemn me. You are the one who used the word "Negra" and are favoring racist laws. Apply the laws to yourself, first.

People much more expert in these subjects long ago concluded that discrimination results in a difference in social status, income, and standard of living. Your questionable perspective hardly sways my trust in their conclusions.

......I don't see why I have to pay taxes for pollution cleanup that happened before I came here.....obviously, I didn't cause it

I agree, leave it there, or get the polluters to clean it up. That is the law by the way; that the polluters should pay for cleanup..

Have you thought of the outback or the ANWR as a place to live?

Instead, maybe we should all grow up and recognize that when your great grandfather moved here from Deutschland that scheize like slave abuse is grandfathered in for all of us no matter when we arrived to this great land.

Really, put up a link telling me where it says in the constitution, I should be responsible for the racism of others.

There is no link to the Constitution.......you either understand the concept or you don't.
