Gary, thank you very much for those thoughts. Yes, I too felt the way you do in that, in some little way, maybe our presence here could help to make a "better" world. But, yes, regrettably, that is just an illusion. In my opinion, we have no more significance on this earth than the leaf of a tree or an ant. However, as you mention in the last paragraph, peace, love and happiness is the WAY and, if for no other reason, to think and believe those thoughts makes one's own life better and richer. Evil to him who evil does. And it definitely makes it easier for others to live with one when one is happy and affectionate than when one is a miserable, old turd.
