Speculations:
Be interesting if the UN shifts its position a bit today based on the "new" information, which would keep Mr Bush's speech writers working overtime tonight.
I rather expect a compromise - Bush maintains his firm stance, but the UN is allowed 2? 4? weeks to
provide a final determination of compliance ,or not, and get out of town (Iraq)
Thats to say, I expect the inspectors will be evacuated before the first action to avoid them being chained together as hostages at ground zero by that guy with the black moustache.
Might even suggest a safe spot for the Press to be on B-day - say 75 miles North of town , since they have telephoto lens , and somebody has to keep score, or we get blamed for everything that goes wrong.
