I want to respond to Ron's post.

Ron.... I phoned them up and asked, "Do you have an minimum balance fee?"

The man, Tony, said "No. We do not."

I then asked the question again and he said, "Oh. That fee. Well... we do have a minimum account fee..."

I replied, "Stop right there. You lied to me. I want you to close this account and for you to send me the balance. Could you check for me how long I have been your customer?"

"Since 1985," Tony answered,

"Well, Tony... if you could please tell management I don't like being lied to about your fees .... and that after eighteen years of having an account here I am voting with my feet here I'd really appreciate that."

Since they have this all on tape I am sure management is taking this home with them and aganizing about it.

I hope you people at Waterhouse read this. It was a great company.
