I didn't think Sheen was bad, but I'm sure Duvall would be better... I thought Sheen played him as too worried and fretful throughout. General Lee had those moments but he would not have become a legend if he was like that constantly. And Sheen looked like a midget in the saddle...not his fault but distracting, IMO. I believe Duvall is better suited intrinsically for the role. CGI? Computer Generated Imagery The budget for Gettysburg did not allow for any.
