Strikes me this is the kind of article in which you know more about the writer than his subject by the end, because he manages to shoot himself, repeatedly, in the feet. (plural, that is.) It's filled with stereotypes, and wicked ones.
Since all the members of my immediate family (wife, two daughters, and the husband of the youngest) voted for Nader, they would, of course love the line:
Stupid political decisions— like voting for Ralph Nader— could be attributed to outside factors, such as immaturity or malnutrition.
When challenged, folk like Daniel Larson will always revert to some form of the line, "I was only kidding; can't you take a joke." Well, of course, but the entire thing is that.
I chuckled. But have learned to expect this stuff from that website. Nuff said. ;-) |
