We have to resolve this war in the next month though, or else its a double dip recession I predict. Either the US pulls out, brings all the troops back and leaves Saddam Hussein there, or Saddam goes into exile, or the US wages war anyway and wins. Those are the 3 outcomes as I see it and each will weigh on diplomatic relations for the US going forward in different ways. But unless this war is finalized and complete the economy can't get going and this includes global demand which won't come back with a stalemate in the air. IF the economy doesn't pick up I predict Bush is in more trouble on the reelection front than they realize right now. This really is quite serious.
