I haven't made up my mind yet on the potential harm of the depleted uranium munitions. My sense is that there's a bit of hysteria on the part of the worriers, and a bit of laxness on the part of the Department of Death, with the truth lying discarded somewhere in the middle.

Here's an interesting hodge-podge on the peace movement. There's a small item at the bottom that caught my eye about the French rabbi who was claiming to have been the victim recently in an 'anti-semitic attack' headline. Turns out the guy was most likely faking the whole thing.
