Hi PeterR1700,

No one inside the company is selling. During the original IPO, all of the then existing investors signed a lock up agreement prohibiting the sale of stock for one year. This included all key employees and their ability to exercise stock options.

Tough to say what actually causes a decline. Simple answer is that someone sold a block of about 30,000 share in two trades and the stock dipped to around 10. This unfortunately happens with stocks that have very little float.

I am very enthused, however, about the state of the company's services. EarthLink is providing outstanding service in all aspects of its business. Core services, mail, news and access to www are consistently hitting 100% availability. Average wait times in technical support over the past three months, on a 7x24 hr, have been around 3min (this represents about 100K phone calls per month). Additonally, our accounts customer service group wait times (this is where you get account info, change password or user name or cancel your account) has been around 1min over the past month. This group fields an addtional 35,000 calls per month.

Our monthly maintenance cost (the amount of money it cost EarthLink to provide service for an unlimited use $19.95 per month account) declined from $16.10 per member per month at the end of last quarter to around $15.00 per memeber per month at the end of Q2. This will continue to decline with increased volume.

At this point, all EarthLink needs is more customers. For the first time in our history we actually have the capacity to grow faster than we are growing and we are working hard to rectify that.

Thanks for your continued interest in EarthLink.
