I have a most excellent, and probably rare import called "Lotus"; 3 record (vinyl stuff) set from a tour in Japan, with at least some of the original band members. Someday, I may try to get it into the computer to share, or I will even send it to one of you to do that, hint hint.
Carlitos was always one of my favorites, not the least of which was because I had a distant connection with the (most excellent Woodstock) drummer, Michael Shrieve; worked with his RN mother, was in the Boy Scouts with his older bro. Had a patient who had 2 sons; Mrs Cohn; her sons were the Cohn Bros, natch ; one was Santana's mgr, the other the agent for the Doobies, or vice versa. She told me, in '73, that, in the old days, Santana used to practice in her basement. When the cops would come out because of the noise, she would back them down; "Do you want these boys out on the street, or making a little noise in my house?" Quite a woman.
