There will be thousands of casualties from bombing alone. Nobody here wants that.

As far as US causalties, I figure our superiority over the Iraquis allows Franks et al the latitude to apply force on the US's terms. That should help. For instance, I think the US casualty count in Afganistan is still under 35 killed.
